A tourist and promotion tax is a fee that every visitor has to pay for each overnight stay all over Slovenia to the municipality and the Slovenian Tourist Board for financing and maintenance of tourist facilities in the area and is charged upon check-out. It is aprox 2€ - 4€/night/person.
